Collaboration with Ila Selwyn

Metonymy is a visual/literary arts initiative that forges creative connections across disciplines. Writers and artists are paired on a blind date to create a unique and innovative work of art. It is an opportunity for artists to explore media outside their area of expertise. There is an emphasis on equal creative pairings in which each artist will spark off one another.

My collaboration with the wonderful and talented poet Ila Selwyn resulted in a mixed media installation of collage, paint and photographs. We bounced ideas of one another to create a personal and shared story through images and words. I have blurred her words here, but I highly recommend checking out her poetry or performance. x
